Rex Ryan's slogan this season has been "Play Like a Jet". If you watched "Hard Knocks", it was posted all over the Jets practice facility. So what does "Play Like a Jet" mean? Is it a good thing or bad thing because playing like a Jet has not always been very positive. Is he trying to change the words of the classical song from West Side Story? You never know what Rex is up to. So after lots of time and effort thinking about this, I have finally figured out what playing like a Jet means.
"Play Like a Jet" means
Giving the finger to the crowd at an MMA event during the Super Bowl (Nice picture Rex)
Having an undeserving sense of accomplishment
Constantly yapping your mouth when you have never won a thing in life
Making guarantees which you can not back up
Having cheesy commercials in every New York City taxi saying "It's Go Time"- awful
Overcharging your season tickets and not being able to sell them all- Yay to PSL's
Eating cheese burgers on the practice field
Having 7 kids with 7 women
Not knowing your 7 kids names
Harassing a female reporter
Driving drunk with a .16
Allowing your friend and teammate to drive home drunk
Joining the drunk driver as passengers in his car
Allowing the drunk driver to go unpunished by letting him play- Oh wait, he isn't starting- sorry- Aren't they so harsh
So that is what I came up with. If anyone has others they would like to share, please do so in the comment box or my Facebook page.
