The Knicks are Terrible Again

I understand it is the Lakers, but to get blown out like that on your home floor is pathetic.  Even worse was losing Wednesday night, at home, to the Clippers. Both the Lakers and Clippers are in the middle of long road trips and were playing the second game of a back to back.  The Knicks had off days and were fully rested, yet could not win either game.  By the way,  The Clippers followed the Knick win by losing to the Cavs last night, who had lost 26 games in a row.  Guess who the Cavs beat before losing 26 in a row.  It was the Knicks.  Call that insult to injury.

The Garden used to be a place where teams feared to play and the Knicks were dominant.  Now, teams excel at the world's most famous arena, and the Knicks struggle greatly.   The Knick fans who had lots of hope for the season, are now losing it.  I do not think we will be hearing anymore A'mare MVP chants for a while.

If they lose the Nets tonight, every Knick fan might start calling for Mike D'Antoni's job.  He is not very popular after telling the fans to stop chanting "We Want Melo".  The rule in New York is, never mess with the fans.  If you do, and the team is not successful, they will murder you.  Additionally, the team continues to play no defense, and it is fair to question if they will ever be able to win big under D'Antoni's style, even with Carmelo Anthony.  Carmelo is a great offensive player, but he plays no defense.  They might score 120, but will be giving up around 130.
