Am I missing anything else???

The question is would you hire this individual for a job?  If you ask that question to Madison Square Garden owner James Dolan, the answer would be yes.  If you ask any other sensible human being the answer would be an automatic Hell No!!!!!  The individual with this stellar resume happens to be Isiah Thomas.  Once a great player, Isiah is now looked at by most in the NBA as a total joke of an executive.  The only thing he gave to the Knicks was embarrassment, and the best moment of his tenure was when he was fired.  I wouldn't let Isiah run a lemonade stand.  I wouldn't even let him come back to the Knicks as a janitor or food vendor.  So the million dollar question is, What is James Dolan thinking?  My answer to that is, I have no freaking clue.  Ever since he owned the Knicks and Rangers, the teams have won nothing, and aside from a few decent years by the Rangers, have been laughing stocks.  Dolan will spend the money, but the problem is that he has no clue how to spend it.

Dolan finally came to his senses after the 2008 season and got rid of Isiah.  He then hired a credible basketball person in Donnie Walsh.  Walsh managed to wash up most of the mess Isiah created and actually got the Knicks under the salary cap.  They were a player in 2010 free agency.  Yes they struck out on LeBron James, Dwane Wade, and Chris Bosh, but they did manage to sign all-star forward Amar'e Stoudamire and make several other moves to improve the team without hurting themselves with the salary cap.  They will be in the hunt the next couple of years to acquire superstars like Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, or Deron Williams.  Knick fans were finally given a reason to be optimistic.  This hope will now potentially change with the re-hiring of Isiah as a consultant.  The man should not be consulting anything.  Let Isiah stay at Florida International and ruin their program.  The Knicks do not need him.  Jimmy Dolan is spitting in his fans face by bringing him back to the organization.  My prediction is Donnie Walsh retires within the year and Isiah runs the team.  Bring back the bad signings, traded draft picks, sexually harassed women, and years of continued shame.
