Leon Keeps on Running

Nice move by the Jets trading Leon Washington for nothing.  In actuality it was not nothing, it was a draft pick which resulted in James McKnight.  McKnight is not even on the active squad.  He had a difficult time in training camp, puking on the field and fumbling.  As he sits at home doing nothing on Sundays, Leon looks like his old self.
Leon ran two kickoffs for touchdowns today and looked fully healed from his leg injury from last year. The Jets believed he would never be the same player, causing them to trade him. They should call San Diego up and ask them what they think.  He looked pretty good to me running for 99 and 102 yard touchdowns.

He was also a good guy and not one of these thugs it seems makes up the new Jets.  Washington was a popular guy on the team and would have helped a team that needs weapons.  He can score a touchdown anytime the ball is in his hands and that was proven today.  The Jets special teams is very good and Leon would only make it better.  Him and Brad Smith together would be a lethal combination.  Unfortunately, he will be doing his damage on the other side of the country.
